For a third consecutive year, the Equine Sport Center Olomouc will welcome high performance dressage riders from young horse level to Grand Prix on 23 - 26 May 2024.
After its inaugural event in 2022 and a successful second edition in 2023, Olomouc is pulling out all the stops to provide the best conditions for top level sport in this Olympic year.
Top Facilities and Ground Jury
One of the most exclusive equestrian centre in the Czech Republic, the Equine Sport Center Olomouc has all-weather footing in all arenas, permanent boxes with automatic waterers for the horses, shower bays, an on-site tack store and a restaurant. Indoor and outdoor warm-up and training arenas are available to the riders.
The president of the ground jury is Gabriela Valeriánová (4* CZE, Ground) and she will officiate alongside Elizabeth Max-Theuer (5* AUT), Malgorzata Pawlowska (3* POL), Hans Voser (3* SUI), Thomas Kessler (3* GER), and William Warren (3* USA).
Full Package
Olomouc will offer the full package of classes with tests for young horses, children, pony, junior, young and U25 riders; as well as a 1* small tour, 2* medium tour and 3* Grand Prix tour. Furthermore, Olomouc will stage a Central European League World Cup qualifier CDI-W where valuable points can be gained towards the 2025 World Cup Finals.
The CDI-W Olomouc will be the perfect opportunity for riders to achieve mileage and scores in the lead-up to Olympic team selection. Young horses can earn results on the path towards the World YH Championships in Ermelo and youth riders can prepare themselves for the summer European Youth Championships.
Entries are Now Open
National federations can register their riders for international dressage competitions in Olomouc. The final deadline for applications is May 9.
"There is no limit to the number of athletes that can enter and hope to also attract riders from Central Europe and Group EEA," said Olomouc facility director Kristýna Koutna. "We have much experience in show management and worked with the feedback of the riders to improve the show and bring a bigger and better event each year."
