Godiva became the price highlight of the 2024 Ponyforum Online Auction of riding ponies which concluded on 29 January 2024.
The ponyforum auction goes via online bidding, but also works with the "immediate buy" format if the right price is offered. A collection of 18 ponies was offered and 85% of them sold. They achieved an average price of around 17,000 euro.
The 14-year old German riding pony mare Godiva (by HET Golden Dream x Verdi) became the most expensive pony in the lot, selling straight away for 45,000 euro to a squad rider from Baden Wurttemberg.
The second most expensive pony was MCM Cissy (by Coer Noble x FS Champion de Luxe) which fetched 25,000 euro. The 5-year old mare moves to Switzerland.
The 10-year old gelding Diamant (by Dreidimensional x Saphir) sold at auction for 20,500 euro. He moves to Westfalia. The 10-yer old Djalika (by Dreidimensional x Dornik B) went for 19,000 euro.
