Spectrum became the top selling horse of the 2023 Blue Hors November auction on 24 November 2023. Clients could bid live at the venue as well as online.
Blue Hors will cease all activities by April 2024 and is down-sizing drastically, so the renowned Danish stud farm has been systematically putting collections of horse up for auction the past two months.
Eighteen horses were offered for sale in this November auction (one lot was withdrawn). The best seller was the 5-year old Spectrum (by Sezuan x Sandro Hit) which sold for 44,000 euro.
The 4-year old Savion (by Secret x Furstenball) sold for 42,000 euro to a Danish client. The 7-year old Victor (by Vivaldi x Stedinger) fetched 40,000 euro and will also stay in Denmark.
Dacar (by Da Costa x Royal Classic) switched owners for 34,000 euro, while Skovdals Storm (by Sezuan x Tailormade Temptation) went for 32,000 euro, just like the 7-year old Zen (by Zack x Furst Heinrich)
The 3-year old UNO Kjentaro Fun (by Kjento x Dancier) sold for 28,000 euro, the 4-year old Winchester C (by Blue Hors Fifty cent x L'Espoir) went for 26,000 euro.
