Viva Deichliebe became the best seller of the 2023 Verden Online auction of foals and broodmares for which the bidding concluded on 7 September 2023.
The filly Viva Deichliebe (by Vivaldos x Diamond Hit) sold for 17,000 euro to a German buyer from Munich. Her dam Deichliebe is a full sister of Deichgraf, who was discovered by dressage rider Stefan Aschenbroich at the Verden Elite Auction and celebrated his first placings in Prix St. George this summer.
The second most expensive foal was Sunset Boulevard (by So Perfect x De Niro) which moves to Switzerland for 13,000 euro. Firework Seven (by Floricello x Quaterback) fetched 11,500 euro.
The most expensive broodmare was Lady Whisper (by Locksley II x Wolkenstein II) which stays in Germany for 10,000 euro. Freestyle WS (by Florent x Destano) sold for 8,750 euro, So Sister (by So Perfect x Damsey) went for 8,000 euro, just like Vaiana (by Va Bene x Don Martillo).
Dutch buyers secured Fiona (by Feinstar x Secret) for 6,750 euro, and Tinkerbelle (by Thiago x Daddy Cool) for 6,250 euro.
Bahoa Blue CK (by Bonhoeffer x Quaterback) moves to Spain for 6,500 euro and will be joined by Valentino (by Va Pensiero x Quaterback) for 5,250 euro. An Austrian bought Davidha (by Donier x His Highness) for 5,500 euro.
The best selling jumper foal was Zintendro (by Zinedine x Contendro) who found a new owner in Bavaria for 10,000 euro.
The average price for a foal in this auction was 6,300 euro.
