The dark bay colt Finero became the price highlight of the 2023 Pferd Austria online foal auction for which the bidding concluded on 13 August 2023. The auction was organised by the Austrian warmblood society and Stadl Paura equestrian center.
A collection of 17 dressage foals and one riding pony foal were auctioned
Finero (by Fineline x Secret), bred by Kira and Wolfgang Pichler, was the most wanted foal with 53 bids made. He sold for 25,000 euro.
The most expensive filly was Viva Austria SA (by Viva Gold x Follow Me), bred by Lebrecht Angerer, found a new owner for 11,250 euro. Filly Caipirinha FH (by Indian Rock x Furst Romancier) went for 11,000 euro.
Decento (by Dimaggio Black x Desperados) sold for 10,250 euro, while Steelis FH (by Ellis x Foundation) ended up selling for 10,000 euro.
Valendero HN (by Va' Pensiero x Van Vivaldi) sold for 9,500 euro, Gladiator M (by Galaxy x Divine Etincelle) for 8,500 euro, and Feline (by Fineline x Laudabilis) had a highest bid of 8,250 euro. Lennon (by Lennox US x Sunday) went for 8,000 euro.
The majority of foals sold to new owners for more than decent prices. Only three foals ended up not being bid on. The average price of the sold foals in this auction was 11,607 euro.
