The filly Tessa B became the best selling foal in the 2023 Van Olst Sales "The Foal Edition" for which the bidding concluded on 6 August 2023.
A collection of 19 foals offered for sale.
"It was an edition for which there was great foreign interest and many foals sold for realistic prices," said organizer Gert-Jan van Olst. "Foals have been sold to The Netherlands, U.SA., Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Sweden and Estonia."
The most expensive foal in the collection was filly Tessa B (by Nacho x Lord Leatherdale) who sold for 10,000 euro to a Dutch buyer.
The second best selling foal was another filly, Troia B (by Secret Lover x Lord Leatherdale) who will also stay in The Netherlands for 8,500 euro.
Filly Trixie (by Glamourdale x George Clooney) fetched 7,500 euro and will move to the USA.
Dutch buyers secured Ti Sento (by Kjento x Krack C x Monaco) for 7,000 euro and Tamarinde (by Glamourdale x Dutch Dormello DDH) for 6,000 euro.
