The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has announced that the North American Junior and Young Riders Championships will return to Old Salem Farm in North Salem, NY, for the 2019 edition.

Following the USEF board meeting on Monday 12 November 2018, the board of directors confirmed the dates and location of the 2019 FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC) for Dressage.  Subject to official approval from the FEI, Old Salem Farm in North Salem, N.Y., will host the FEI NAYC for Dressage July 30-August 4, 2019.

For the second straight year, the NAYC for junior and young riders in dressage will run in conjunction with the NAYC for Jumping at Old Salem Farm.

The FEI NAYC for Dressage is the premier equestrian competition in North America for junior and young riders, ages 14-21 where young equestrians vie for team and individual FEI medals.

The event was originally called North American Junior/Young Riders Championships but was rebranded in 2018 as the North American "Youth" Championships.

So far there is no Children's division in dressage at the North American Youth Championships.
