QC Fortnite, Price Highlight of the 2023 Oldenburg Special Edition Auction

Oldenburg friends from the United States of America secured four of the five show jumpers offered for auction in the 2023 Oldenburg Special Edition auction for which the bidding concluded on 10 December 2023.

The bronze medal winner of the Oldenburg jumping championships, Ted (by Twilight - Curacao - Alabaster) moves to the USA for 35,000 euro. 

The price highlight of the 10th Oldenburger Special Edition is QC Fortnite from the dressage lot. The strong moving bay by Franziskus x Belissimo M x Sir Donnerhall I sold for 60,500 euro. The 5-year-old is bred by Wieghaus-Vorwerk and presented at auction by Marita Pundsack after the horse was discovered by Belgian Patrick d'Eer from QC stables. 

The second most expensive horse was Saint Lavinia (by Vitalis x Sandro Hit) which will stay in Germany for 41,000 euro. Donation (by Foundation x Don Schufro) sold for 34,500 euro. Revolver (by Radisson x Swarovski) fetched 30,000 euro.

Dynastie (by Bonds x Scolari x Welt Hit I) stays in Germany for 32,000 euro. Irvine (by Ibiza x Sandro Hit) went for 25,500 euro. An Indian client paid 15,000 euro for Joyce (by Jovian x Belissimo). A French customer got Anne Boleyn (by Bordeaux x Rubinstein) for 8,000 euro.

"I was really pleased that the numerous families, who tried out their favourite candidate on site in Vechta got their favourite," reported Roland Metz, managing director of the Pferde-Vermarktungs GmbH. 

Almost a third, six out of 23 auction candidates, were purchased by Oldenburg friends from abroad. They will bring joy in the USA (4), France (1) and India (1). The average price of the 10th Oldenburger Special Edition was around 23,000 euro and a turnover of 520,000 euro.
