Internationally competed small tour horse Ibistrona, by Don Tango x Contango.

Ibistrona is a gorgeous, 2013 KWPN mare ready to strut her stuff with an ambitious goal driven rider. She is a fantastic sport mare with three exceptionally flashy, quality gaits, with a natural willingness to move forward. Stella has a very nice, ground covering walk; her trot is very elegant with an amazing cross over in the lateral movements; and a fabulous, “cloud like” canter. She is sensitive, cooperative, and will give you an experience of suppleness and lightness, which is definitely an asset for competition. She has a great combination of energy and power in movement and collectedness in character. Ibistrona is easy on the aids, always trying to comply with the rider, and positively sensitive who always shows enthusiasm to learn and works to please her rider.

Now shown through the CDI small tour, winning at the CDI Myakka City at Terra Nova. She has has scores as high as 69% in the CDI ring and 74% in the small tour freestyle as well scores also up to 75% at Fourth level nationally. Her extensive show record from training level up to most recently CDI Small Tour speaks for itself and is yet another example of the quality and train ability of this mare. She has been carefully developed thus far and this can be tracked through this record as well as what a wonderful ride she is. She will be a fantastic show partner for someone in the future.

Her bloodlines speak for themself, as she was bred from stallion Don Tango, who was the highest scoring dressage stallion at the 2011 KWPN Stallion Performance Test. Her Grandsire Contango is also a prolific stallion, who had an exceptional sport career in both show jumping and dressage. He competed in the Grand Prix in both disciples, winning 33 Grand Prix dressage classes. He is a legendary stallion who has sired many Grand Prix horses in both disciples, including the equally legendary Ravel and various approved stallions including Don Tango.

Additionally, in the dam side of Stella’s bloodlines we see the stallion Sunny Boy, who is the first approved son by the former World and National Champion, Sandro Hit. The name Sandro Hit speaks for itself with him being one of the most prolific and well know dressage sires of all time. With the combination of these two bloodlines it is no surprise that Stella had fantastic quality and has proven herself to be an exceptional performance horse as well.
