San Maxime Sells for 151,000€ in Riesenbeck Foal Auction to Canada

San Maxime by San to Alati out of Nadine Capellmann's Diamond Girl

The liver chestnut colt San Maxime became the price highlight of the OnLive foal auction held by the Westfalian and Oldenburg Verband during the 2023 European Dressage Championships in Riesenbeck.

On Saturday evening 9 September 2023,  a foal auction was held for which the bidding took place live as well as online. A small collection of 10 foals was offered for sale.

San Maxime (by San to Alati out of Diamond Girl (by Diamond Hit x Liberty M) sold for the staggering price of 151,000 euro to Canadian dressage horse investor Vicky Lavoie of Nexolia Stud in partnership with vascular surgeon, Dr. Pierre Larose.  San Maxime is bred by Britta Heinen and owned by the breeder and Peter Michael. Dam Diamond Girl competed up to international Grand Prix level under Nadine Capellmann. The mare sold to Heinen in May 2018.

The second most expensive foal was Finest Impression (by Fair Deal x Vitalis x Diamond Hit) sold for 33,500 euro to a German buyer. 

 Vamos Junior (by Vitalis x Hotline x Sandro Hit) is one of eight full siblings to international Grand Prix horse Vamos Amigos. He sold for 32,000 euro to Belgium.

Floribelle (by Feliciano x Sir Donnerhall x Akzent II) fetched 28,000 euro, while Extravagant (by Escanto PS x San Amour) went for 20,000 euro.

Vin Diesel (by Vivaldos x Furstenball) sold for 17,000 euro, Emporio (by Escolar x For Romance) for 14,500 euro, Dante ter Kwincke (by Dante Weltino x UB 40) for 11,000 euro and a Spanish customer bought Festival d'Amour (by Fynch Hatton x Stedinger) for 10,000 euro.
