The bay colt Michael PL became the best selling foal in a new online auction, exclusively for pony foals, which the Westfalian breed society held on 28 August 2023.
Twenty-three foals were on offered and 18 of them sold. The average price was 4,417 euro for a pony foal.
Michael PL (by FS Mr. Right x FS Champion de Luxe) fetched the highest price of 8,000 euro and will move to Gut Roemerhof near Dusseldorf. The most popular filly was Amazing Grace (by About You x D-Power AT) who went for 6,250 euros.
Amadeus (by A Kind of Magic x Der Feine Lord) went for 6,000 euro. Daktari RB (by Dark Champagne AT x FS Dr Watson) sold for 5,000 euro.
All other foals went for less than 5,000 euro. Only one foal sold abroad: Cute Casanova SD (by Cosmopolitan x Golden West) for 4,000 euro
