Fidelius, Top Seller of the 2019 German Sport Horse Foal Auction in Nordlingen

The bay colt Fidelius became the top seller of the 2019 German Sport Horse (DSP) foal auction held in Nordlingen, Germany.

Bred by Hans-Georg Zander, Fidelius is by For Romance II x Quaterback and sold for 65,000 euro to new clients from Austria. 

Five foals sold for more than 20,000 euro and 67 were sold at this auction.

The filly Pacifica GE (by Secret x Grey Flanell) was knocked down for 25,000 euro, while Escolador (by Escolar x Lauries Crusador xx) found a new home for 24,000 euro. 

The most expensive jumper foal was Verito (by Van Gogh x Lancer II), which fetched 26,500 euro and moved to a stallion station in Rhineland-Pfalz as a jumper prospect. 

The colt Flash Mich (by Franziskus x Lord Falo) was knocked down for 16,000 euro. 

The colt Don Romance (by Don Martillo x Furst Romancier) sold for 15,000 euro, while the colt Estado (by Escamillo x De Niro) switched owners for 12,000 euro

Miracle (by Morricone x Furstenball) sold for 10,500 euro, filly Diamantenlady (by Diamond Deluxe x Cabaret) for 10,200 euro. The filly Pasadena GE (by Floriscount x Sandro Hit) and the colt Vicaprio (by Vitalis x Dacaprio) both sold for 10,000 euro. 

The average price for a foal at this auction was 9,322 euro.
