Swedish Grand Prix rider Charlotte Haid-Bondergaard has sold 12-year old Hanoverian small tour horse San Andreas to Swedish junior rider Elise Lindeblad.

San Andreas is a Hanoverian gelding by Sandro Hit x Walt Disney x Bolero x Grande, bred in Germany by Hans-Heinrich Oltmann.

The bay gelding was originally owned by Australians Linda and Beau Dowsett from Queensland and the horse made its first headlines as a youngster.

He was first started by the then German based Australian Robert Schmerglatt Harrisson and in 2011 Australian Jayden Brown took over the ride. They went on to represent Australia at the 2013 World Championships for Young dressage Horses in Verden, Germany, where they finished 3rd in the consolation finals and 14th in the Finals for 6-year old dressage horses.

While Brown travelled back to Australia, the horse stayed in Germany and was trained to Grand Prix level by Hubertus Hufendiek. In 2014 Charlotte Haid-Bondergaard purchased the gelding as her 2020 Tokyo hopeful. Charlotte competed the horse at international small tour level in 2017 and once in 2018. Her husband Rasmus competed him once at medium tour level at the 2018 CDI Hickstead last July.

The new owner and rider is the 18-year old Elise Lindeblad, who made her junior CDI debut in 2018 on Don Silvio.
